It wasn't that I disliked Briony, but at 13 she had to have some sort of motivation for speaking with SUCH certainty when she KNEW she wasn't certain in her accusation. And maybe not even motivation, but perhaps recognition that what she was doing was wrong. I bet this one was an interesting read for a book club!
