Catching Up
AHHHHHH. With the new job, I've been able to keep my reading at a steady pace, but it seems like I can never find the time to blog about what I'm reading or read others' blogs about what they are reading. Thanks for sticking with me...if you still are. :) Hopefully I will have some GREAT catch up time this weekend. In the meantime, below are the reviews for Age of Innocence and Tales of Edgar Allan Poe. Sometimes this weekend (maybe sooner?) I'll have another for Northanger Abbey. There just aren't enough hours in the days. How do YOU all find time to read?

Good luck to you!
I'm never sure how I'm fitting things in, or even that I am. There's never enough time in the day for all the things I'd like to do. I'm definitely behind on my reading. Partly though I've taken to bringing books along anywhere I can---waiting rooms (car oil change; doctor's office; whatever), the gym, meals when I'm eating alone, etc.
When I started blogging, I felt compelled to visit everyone's blog everyday and that drastically cut into my reading time. Now, I visit certain people on certain days and make it a priority to fit in at least 90 minutes of uninterrupted reading time everyday.
And like Heather, I read whenever I'm waiting or at the gym.
Hi Trish! I'm still sticking with you. :)
Like I responded to you on my blog, I LOVE to read, but just sitting and reading makes me feel lazy, so I've resorted to listening to books on CD. I can do that while doing numerous tasks. In general, by no means a rule, reading an actual book I save for late afternoons and evenings.
Do what you can, when you can.
Hmmmm..there aren't enough hours in the day. And it seems my reading is less and less as the years go by, only because of time. I wish I had more time, but I guess I do ok. What was it that study says? The average person reads less than 5 books a year? Well....even if I don't hit 100 (which I really wanted to do this year) 60 is still good!
My kids go to bed at 8pm and my husband shortly after that but I am a night owl so I have 2-4 hours every night to myself. When we got rid of TV 6 years ago was when I started reading for the first time in my life. Now I feel flustered if I don't get my reading time.
At the moment, I'm not. All my spare time, between work, the family obligations, walking the dog, and life in general, is being spent writing.
But I try to read a paragraph or two before I go to sleep.

I don't. (Find enough time to read, that is.) And worse than that, when I do find a smidgen? I tend to fall asleep.
Thank you all for the reassurance that I am not totally alone in this crazy busy chaos. I guess we all just do the best we can! :)
