Back from Argentina

Whew! I am back from Argentina (as of 7:00 this morning) and am EXHAUSTED!! I hope to get some rest and be back blogging/reading soon, though. I'm scared to death to even open up my google reader and will probably wipe the whole thing clean and just start fresh. I hate to do it that way, but it is the only way this tired girl can stay sane after being gone for almost a week.

I probably won't blog about my trip here, but I hope to spend some time on the pictures this weekend and will probably post something on my other blog--which I don't keep up with very often--for those who are interested. It was a fabulous trip but I am certainly glad to be home! The picture below is of my mom, sister, and me at a street fair in Buenas Aires--my sister has been living in the city since last September and will be coming home to the states in just a few weeks, so mom and I went to visit her before she comes home.

Welcome back, Trish!

If you do decide to start clean with Reader, I just wanted to let you know there are a couple of book giveaways announced on my blog, in case you're interested.

Now go get some rest. . . :-)

Welcome home! I'd love to visit Argentina.

I'll summarize my blog for ya:
New template? yes? No? Hey look, new template! Ads? Ok maybe. Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson was great, Bridget Jones's Diary was lacking (but was part of your challenge!). I sewed.

See, now you can skip me without guilt.

Glad you are back!! Sounds like you had a great trip!! I'm envious! Of course, with trips like that, you almost need a vacation from your vaction to get rested up!

I've never been to Argentina; it must have been so exciting! Get caught up on your sleep, and I'm so glad you joined in the Japanese Literature Challenge 2.

I'm looking forward to hearing all about your trip! It's too bad you couldn't have stayed for a little longer.

I just went to Argentina in April!! I, too, saw my sister who was staying there. She was only there for six weeks, though, and I could only stay for a week. I sure wish it could have been longer. I really enjoyed Buenos Aires. We also went to Iguazu Falls, which was FANTASTIC!!

Glad you had a good trip!

Trish, one more thing: I've looked for your email address and been unable to find it. Would you mail it to me at bellezza.mjs@gmail.com so that I can include you in the review site and send you other updates as they occur? Thanks!

Welcome back, Trish! I don't blame you for wanting to start with a clean slate with your google reader. Sometimes it's a necessity to staying sane.

*Amanda - Thanks for the tag! I'm going to try to get to this either tonight or tomorrow--eeeks! I've been trying to think about my quirkiness, though, to have some good answers. ;)

*CB - Buenas Aires was very different than I expected. I still haven't posted any pictures, but I hope to do that soon (life has been crazy!!). I found BA to be a cross between NYC and Paris, but maybe a little more run-down. Still fabulous!! Do you do a lot of traveling?
