Hey Trish!

Totally off-topic -- I asked friends in NH about the foliage. Bob said there's not much color in his area and Sharon (who is in Manchester) said it's not supposed to peak until late October. She checks here for foliage updates:

Sharon said that website covers Mass., Maine, VT and NH. Hope that helps!

Thank you so much, Nancy. I was looking at a few websites this morning and it seems that the best time to go is around Columbus Day (which is the day before we leave to go home). I'm hoping we'll be able to see some good color--but it's so beautiful thataway anyway that I'm sure we'll have a great time regardless. My biggest fear is that the leaves will all have fallen (I went to Boston the first week in November a few years back and everything was bare), but if they are barely changing now I think we'll get some good color when we go (fingers crossed!!). I really regret that we don't have much of a fall in Texas, but not a big fan of the cold weather so it's a trade off, I guess.

Haven't tried Google Analytics, but I'll have to look into it.
And what's this about you coming to the east coast? Ummmm, are you planning a trip to NY to see ME?
PS Glad to see if you had the letter verification before that you got rid of it. I HAAAAATE those things.

*Rach - So...are you subscribing to my comments? I'm too darn lazy to respond to your comments on your blog. :) Yes, Scott and I are going to New England next weekend. Not New York...although we talked about it. We decided that we can go to New York anytime but can only see the leaves once a year. I've always wanted to do this trip--so hopefully the leaves don't disappoint. We don't get a fall here...

And if I start getting spammed, the verification is going back up. I hate it too but I don't have time to deal with deleting bad comments.

Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame. Ever hear of a little place called Central Park? The leaves are gorgeous.
But I guess it's for the best because it just barely cooled down, like, today, so the leaves haven't started changing yet. Plus, I'll be out of town next weekend.
And yes, I'll subscribe to your comments only because I know you're lazy. :)
