That is so cool. The only one of my college friends I'm still in touch with is my hubby.

I walked through Anne Frank's house in Amsterdam when I was only eight years old. It changed my life forever. I remember looking at a glass case filled with people's eyeglasses in the 'museum' of the first floor, absolutely shocked that such an even could happen. It's good to read her diary every few years, and remember the courage of a young girl.

*Bermuda - My husband was my next-door neighbor at college!! I still have a few friends from college, but they all live relatively far away.

*Bethany - You'll have to see if you can find a copy--it really is a touching story. I know taht 6:30 is a weird time--especially since that's 4:30 yours, but I drew a name before I left for work--sometimes 6:30 in the morning is the only time I have to blog for the day!!

*Bellezza - What a remarkable experience? I haven't made it out that way, but I remember 10 years ago going to Dachau (in Germany) with my mom and sisters and it being a really emotional experience for all of us. Have you read Anne Frank Remembered (by Miep Gies)?

*Kari - It is a small world! Of course I also know you and one of my cousins entered... :)
