Little Overwhelmed

Trish Confused
How does this thing work again?

Whew. Scott and I stayed an extra day in Yellowstone, so we just got home this evening. After being gone for 9 and a half days, I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. I uploaded 800 pictures onto my computer, checked my hotmail to find 160 emails (not including the junk mail I *just* started getting while on vacation) and 75 emails in my gmail. I'm scared to check my Google Reader--oops, just did and have 445 posts.

And to top it all off, I didn't read a single page while we were gone. Notta one!

So, I'm back. Had a great trip, but it'll take me the better part of the week to get back into the swing of things.

Hope everyone's week is going well! Did I miss anything exciting while I was gone?

This is one of those times that you need a vacation after your vacation!

Loved the snap. Look at the view behind. Awesome. Glad you enjoyed the trip. I'm now inspired to do something like that too.

Welcome back! I always find it to be really nice to be away from the computer and everything for awhile. Sounds relaxing. Definately want to see more pictures though!

Welcome back Trish. I agree with Ana, post more pictures!

(Oh and when I was gone for 8 days I was equally as overwhelmed. i finally just caved and hit the "mark all as read" button. I felt guilty but within a day, the feeder was filled to something manageable so I could get back into the swing of things!)

Good luck catching up. it's worth it for a good vacation (even one you need vacation from afterwards, haha!). I can't wait for your pictures and stuff. :)

Vacations sure can wipe you out! I'm glad you had a good time. Did I hear something about baseball sized hail in Sturgis? Hope you didn't get caught in that if I did hear correctly!

Welcome back, Trish!!!! Can't wait to hear all about the trip. But take your time getting caught up (and I highly suggest the "mark all as read" button...goodness knows there's enough other things to take care of when you get home from a trip).

Glad you had a good time Trish. I can't wait to hear about it. I'm way behind on blogging and commenting so I think I'm just going to start over. lol.

The scenery behind you so reminds me of when we drove across the country- the most awe-inspiring sight was the Badlands. I think it was more stunning than Mt. Rushmore, which we also saw on that trip.

This is a great picture! Can't wait to see some of the others! It is overwhelming to come back after vacation and find piles of stuff to catch up on. But it sounds like you had lots of fun, and got lots of great pictures!

Thanks everyone for the welcome back! I'm still trying to get organized, but I feel that after a week I'm at least a step closer. Pictures are coming soon, I promise.

Jeane - The backdrop IS The Badlands! Great eye.
