Classics Challenge 2010 is BACK!

YAY!!! I did it! I hope you'll sign up with me! :) Details are the same as last year--all can be found on the Classics Challenge site.

BIG Thanks to Veens for making me these beautiful buttons!

Hmmm, going to go stare at the shelves for a little...

Hey Trish, I hope it's okay but I don't think I'm going to sign up for this challenge this year. I'm a bit overwhelmed with challenges and plus I've been reading like 5 classics a month already so I know it'll get done. Those are gorgeous buttons though!

I'll be trying again this year, but I need to stare at my shelves for awhile first too, so I can make a starting list at least.

*Amanda - Truthfully I'm not expecting turnout to be high since I haven't been blogging for almost four months, and I probably should have passed the torch on for someone else to host, but oh well. No worries for not joining--I haven't even looked at what other challenges are going on right now!! :)

*Suey - Making the list is the fun part, I think! :)

Is there a list of what is considered a classic? I'd like to sign up because I have three books on my shelf that I consider classics that I've been wanting to read.

*Carin - I was looking for an email address for you but couldn't find one, so if you want to discuss more please feel free to email me. I don't have a list of what is considered a classic and there are so many different ideas. Personally I think that it needs to be at least 50 years old (so maybe 1960 as cutoff), but some will say earlier than that, some later. It's a judgment call. :)

What books are you looking at reading?

Boy oh boy, you better believe I'm joining this one! I can't blog regularly now either, but I will be reading classics my whole life. :) I need to design my dissertation proposal for my committee before I can choose books. All work and no play...

Good luck with the challenge!

I think that I will go sign up too - with the goal to read the books that I was supposed to read for last years challenge! O_o

I have an award for you!
